just wanted to let you know what the huh has been going on with this blog lately. well i woke up one morning to put up a post and had noticed that the whole thing had wigged out on me for some reason. after failed attempts to get help from tumblr and techie buddies being baffled with the problem, i kinda found myself helpless and hopeless. i’m a bit of a perfectionist and it was kinda doing my head in. therefore technical difficulties, other projects and life’s hectic schedule have kinda left this little thing a bit neglected. apologies for any hassles this has caused you. i assure you my snap-happinesss and creative happenings is still alive and kicking (probably moreso than ever before) - just have had nowhere to post about it. we at simple machine are working around the clock to sort out a new solution. maybe not around the clock, but we’re on it. so please don’t give up on me and this relationship. please don’t stop dropping by. i will keep you posted on the current situation and hopefully have the some new form of site/blog back on the world wide web asap! thanks for the patience. hope you’re well.

no doubt you’re already well aware of the sweetest new rag to be hitting the scene - Foam Symmetry.
JB, DP and others have combined forces to collate, narrate and presentate the latest happenings in the surfing province. tomorrow night is launch night and it’s sure to be a kicker! aside from the chance to pick up a copy of issue 1, there’ll also be movie screenings, giveaways and art on the walls via Dane Peterson, Duncan MacFarlane, Matt Johnson and myself. good times ahoy.
ps so dig this shot by D.Peterson. that’s right, i dig it.

over the weekend i had the privilege of meeting one of my favourite artists and constant inspirations, Jeff Canham. His work is amazing and it was so crazy to see it up close. The exhibition will be up till the 2nd of december, so if you can get there, get there. Massive thanks to Joseph Allen Shea and Marty Routledge for making Selfest happen. more snaps to come …
